So far so good in the free agent market,no blockbuster moves but we did get some very good players,Damion Mcintosch from Miami will anchor the LT spot,a good pickup,a solid veteran,I also like the signing of Harris and Donnie Edwards coming back home(should have never left)will beef up the LB core. But there are still alot of holes to fill and we might have to do that in the draft,I think our biggest need is DT and WR.Trent Green, what will happen with him,I bet he restructures and stays, his best bet on playing is here with the Chiefs but he must take less $$$.Lets hope for some good draft picks.

Lots of new faces and some old ones like edwards. way to go.... they did something right.
Looks like things might go our way.
QB?????????????????? we need someone else to catch the ball other than TONY.......
WR we need a good one maybe a tall and fast rookie. Maybe miami might give up someone good for Green.
Defense, sammy knight gone... what ever happened to Bell ?
I am tried of watching the game at Fatso in san antonio and having the chiefs fold by giving up big plays on 3rd downs, those type of plays really brings us down.
We still love our CHIEFS here in Texas..........is Priest returning ???? our home town hero.....

well, i'll tell you what i like..

-an improved offensive line. i got a bit worried about the future of our front five this past season.. let's just hope our aging middle 3 hold up.

-good linebacker situation! the still developing DJ coupled with two veterans who look to fit the chiefs system well.

-competition at quarterback. i know we all love Green, and are thankful for what he's done in his time at KC.. but we all know it's his time to move on. now Damon Huard and Brodie Croyle (and Casey Printers??) will be competing for the starting job. a little competition for a starting spot was NEVER a bad thing.

what makes me uneasy:

-no WRs to speak of. Kennison is, as always, decent.. but wouldn't be a first-string on any other team's roster. sammie parker looks to be shaping up as a bit of a disappointment. and dante hall is simply not the player he used to be.. not even as a kick-return specialist. HOPEFULLY we can pick up a talented young reciever in the draft (perhaps Ohio State's Teddy Ginn, Jr.? he would fill the concern at kick returner as well. and let's not forget this guy ran a 4.28 forty! whoa!!)

-Jared Allen's attitude at the moment. i really like this guy, and he's extremely valuable to the chiefs defense.. but wtf. i never expected a chiefs player to have these kinds of complaints.

-- have any of you looked at the '07 schedule yet? looks tough. and only 1 nationally televised game this year? lame. being that there's only 1 state in the whole US that doesn't contain chiefs season ticket holders, that sucks.

-- i REALLY wish there was some way to snag Amobi Okoye in the draft! he would address the situation at defensive tackle, not to mention the guy's 19 years old! that would be a refreshing breath to a chiefs roster that's as old as this one is.

-- Go Chiefs :)
